WEEK 9

A recurring theme in the book of Acts is the primacy of prayer in the expansion of the gospel. The church at Antioch is praying, fasting, and worshiping when Paul and Barnabas are set apart by the Holy Spirit and sent out on their first missionary journey. Throughout Acts, prayer precedes the proclamation of the gospel and work of the Holy Spirit.
